Lower GI Endoscopy (Colonoscopy)

A colonoscopy is a procedure to look at the inside of your large bowel (colon) using a flexible telescope.

It is usually done to assess bloating, rectal bleeding, weight loss and suspicion for cancer. We can perform biopsies and take photographs to help make the diagnosis. If polyp is found , it may be possible to remove it during the procedure.
